The story of the birth of a nation ‘Pippa’ is based on ‘The Burning Chafees’ written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, this War Tank film brings to life the Indo-Pak war of 1971 that led to the independence of Bangladesh and its birth on the world map. Ishaan will be seen essaying the role of a young brigadier who was instrumental in fighting the battle on the eastern battlefield as part of the 45 Cavalry Tank Squadron.
