KRK Kamal Rashid Khan Arrested Today Latest News Update in Hindi: Filmmaker, actor and film critic Kamal R Khan (KRK) has been arrested by Mumbai Police. Mumbai Police has arrested KRK in connection with a controversial tweet of the year 2020. After his arrest, he was taken to the Borivali court. Where there was a hearing regarding the controversial tweet case. After the hearing, the court has sent KRK to judicial custody for 14 days. However, KRK has also filed a bail petition in the court, which will be heard at 4 pm.

Earlier, after KRK’s arrest, DCP Vishal Thakur said in a statement that KRK was arrested under the IT Act and the police was looking for him for many years. He has been arrested after coming to Mumbai.

DCP Vishal Thakur said in his statement, “An FIR was registered against Kamal R Khan in 2020. This arrest of KRK has been done under the IT Act. The police had been looking for KRK for many years. He landed yesterday and was arrested immediately. Now he will be produced in the court.”

Vishal Thakur further said, “Kamal R Khan was outside India so we had issued a Look Out Circular (LoC). They came to India yesterday after which we arrested them. We have registered under IPC section and IT Act 67. We have registered a case regarding the controversial tweet.

Kamal R Kha wrote in a tweet, ‘Today I have decided to remove ‘Khan’ from my name and add my wife’s surname, Kumar. My wife’s name is Anita Kumar. So now my name will be Kamal Rashid Kumar. KRK has been a part of the reality TV show Bigg Boss. He also worked in some films which were flops badly. Khan had used the wrong words for some Bollywood stars on social media sites, after which his Twitter handle was suspended.

According to media reports, in 2020, the core committee of Yuva Sena had lodged an FIR at Malad police station on Kamal. Committee member Rahul Kanal alleged that Kamal had made objectionable tweets about the late actors Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. In this case, the police had registered a case against Kamal under section 294.
