Actor and film critic Kamal Rashid Khan has been admitted to Shatabdi Hospital in Mumbai after complaining of chest pain. KRK was sent to 14-day judicial custody by the Borivali court on Tuesday.

In the two-year-old case, the Mumbai Police had arrested Kamal from the Mumbai airport in the morning itself. Thereafter he was produced in the court. This action was taken on a controversial tweet of 2020. Kamal has returned to Mumbai after two years.

Before proceeding further in the news, you can participate on this poll…

The case was registered under section 294, but in 2020, the core committee of Yuva Sena had lodged an FIR at Malad police station. Committee member Rahul Kanal alleged that Kamal had made objectionable tweets about the late actors Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. In this case, the police had registered a case against Kamal under section 294.

Controversial tweets made after the death of Rishi and IrrfanKRK had tweeted in 2020 after the death of Irrfan Khan (April 29) and Rishi Kapoor (April 30). He wrote, ‘I had said a few days ago that Corona will not go away until some famous people are not taken with them. Then I did not write the names because people would abuse me, but I knew in advance that Rishi and Irfan would go. I also know whose number is going to come next.

When Rishi Kapoor was admitted to Reliance Hospital, KRK tweeted- ‘Rishi Kapoor has been admitted to HN Reliance Hospital. I just want to tell him that Sir, come back soon after getting well, don’t take out, because the liquor shop is about to open in only 2-3 days.

Rishi Kapoor’s health was tweeted.

This is a strong message- Rahul issued a statement on the arrest of Kamal, saying- Kamal has been arrested because of my complaint. I appreciate and thank this work of Mumbai Police. With this arrest, Mumbai Police has sent a strong message against such people.
